After World War II and the great depression, fathers & mothers decided their children would not have to go through what they experiencedso they gave them everything, let them grow up like weeds and not be responsible for anything-thus creating the hippie cop-out generation of the sixties-free love-if it feels good do it-set your own standards and reject moral authority-Hence today's leaders who have no foundation for what they believe except establish your own-nothing wrong w/lying if it promotes your goals,nothing wrong w/screwing your best friends wife so long as you don't get caught-in other words no absolutes and if you do get caught-so what? The same things that our main universities teach-no absolutes
Does this make sense-we have trampled the Constitution, taken God out of the Schools and courtrooms-no 2 people (academia) can agree on anything because there is no standard or absolutes.
